Schema FMC00.617: shows the progression of the faculties of the human 'I' along the evolution of Earth and Man's bodily principles and structural make up. The current Postatlantean epoch is characterized by the faculty of thinking as part of contemporary waking consciousness. However this intellectual logic or 'head thinking' with the human brain is slowly evolving, and in the future Man will develop 'heart thinking' that will transform the faculty of memory - see stages of clairvoyance. It is noteworthy to remark that sometimes these topics are focused on, like striking the same note on a piano keyboard, but without the context of the notes around it. And so the insight remains in a way limited. It is only when a number of elements are taken together, and one rises above individual descriptions, that one 'sees' all at once that it is all connected and describing the same.
This Schema is presented as a case example for anthroposophical study, because it provides such as central node from which connections go to many different angles.
