FMC00.685 illustrates the impact of natural evolutionary process of the loosening of the etheric body on human consciousness.

On the left: the contemporary predominant waking consciousness illustrated by the soul experience of thinking in the human head, using the physical body as a 'reflecting device'.

On the right: a sketch of the loosening of the etheric from the physical body, an effect also accomplished through meditation as part of initiation exercises. The faculty of cognition shifts to using the etheric body as a 'reflecting device' and leads to imaginative clairvoyance.
