FMC00.657A shows a further selection of various contemporary artistic depictions of Jesus. See Schema FMC00.657 for disclaimer and commentary.

Above some well known imagery by Heinrich Hoffman (1824-1911) and Hermann Schmiechen (1855-1925) who both made multiple paintings.

Above right: a Jesus painting by Schmiechen was mirrored for comparison with an earlier painting of Master Koot Homi some 20 years before, observe the similarity. Note theosophist Schmiechen made paintings of the Masters for Blavatsky in the 1880s (from Schema FMC00.309), then later joined the German theosophical society where Rudolf Steiner asked him in 1905 to make copies of these for use in the esoteric lessons.

Below: some illustrations of so-called images of Jesus or Christ-Jesus that circulate worldwide, all with a (usually sensational) story attached.
