FMC00.643 provides a timeline overview of the generational impact of Franz Bardon's impulse and system of self-initiation centered around the book 'The way to true adepthood' known in English as 'Initiation into Hermetics' (IIH).
Rudolf Steiner explained how the impulse by important Individualities works after their death in periods of 25 or 33 years, carried by generations of incarnating souls, with a first rising wave and a second major wave in the second and third 33 year periods - see Thirty three years rhythm. This has been be confirmed by mapping the timeline history for impulses by for example Jacob Boehme, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe or Rudolf Steiner (Schema FMC00.640).
This view integrates available information to show that after a first period of 33 years after Franz Bardon's death (1958-1991; with publishing and translations, and key students picking up the work), the second period (approx. 1991-2023) indeed represents the 'first rising wave' of the impulse, with
- students coming forth as teachers and writing commentaries and supporting practitioners (with Rawn Clark as the best example)
- the forming of 'communities' of individual practitioners (especially thanks to the internet) sharing questions and experiences
- a pick-up in the number of publications, both books and online blogs.
The next period (approx. 2024 to 2057) can be anticipated to build on this as the 'second major wave', whereby the first preparatory rising wave pales in comparison in terms of impact.
