Image caption

FMC00.692 depicts what is called a 'choir' of seven archangels that alternate 'round robin' within a cultural age of approximately 2160 years governed by an archai spirit of the age, each governing a period of approximately 354 years in succession and thus "regulate this course of the human destiny", see Schema FMC00.239 and Schema FMC00.239A, and more on Third Hierarchy and Spiritual hierarchies and their eigenperiods.

The spirits of the hierarchy of the archangels "alternate in such a way that about six or seven come one after the other, while one spirit of the age is ruling. So that we have the archangel we call Oriphiel in the time of the Mystery of Golgotha, then Anael, Zachariel, Raphael, Samael, Gabriel rule successively; and since 1879 we have the government of the archangel we call Michael" (1915-05-13-GA159)

Both pictures taken as details from early 16th century paintings in the Ambrosiana Gallery Pinacoteca Library in Milan, Italy.

On the left, from 'Madonna and child' (approx 1500-1510) by Pinturicchio (1454-1513)

Right: detail of the 'Adoration of child Jesus' (approx 1515-1525) by Martino Piazza (ca. 1478-1523)
