FMC00.641A illustrates a key principle explained by Rudolf Steiner in the scientific warmth course GA321 in 1920. The distinction is made between observed phenomena such as light and tone, and the underlying mechanism of how these are but manifestations of form in a certain realm, whereby - and this is key - formative forces coming from different realms interpenetrate other realms (see Schema FMC00.084 and Schema FMC00.172).
This contrasts with the view of contemporary physics and mineral science, where light and sound are (erroneously) considered the essential nature of the wave with its wave characteristics (and there is no distinction of medium and acting forces or influences from different realms).
For rationale and explanation refer to the lecture of 1920-03-09-GA321 and the complete GA321 course.
This text on the right is illustrated on the basis of Schema FMC00.641 - middle left.
Note: juxtaposed here are also schemas FMC00.642 and FMC00.511 (and FMC00.627) that are also illustrate this principle that the physical world (with 'linear' space and time) is but a projection of higher worlds or realms, usually explained with the idea of how an ever-enlarging circle becomes a straight line. For more information, refer to the lecture references given with these Schemas, especially the scientific astronomy course GA323 of 1921.
