Module 2=======

This page provides an introduction to the study approach.

As we learn through the process, the interrelationships will become clearer. The goal is to 'initialize' our base understanding, so we have a foundation to build on. In the next phases we can then continuously extend the territory covered by adding perspectives to shed light on the so-many aspects of the Mystery of Golgotha and the Christ Impulse.

Step 1

Because we need to start somewhere as a first step in our intended comprehensive approach, we choose two key lectures as the best introduction to the Mystery of Golgotha (MoG). Below is an overview chart of the 1906-12-02-GA097 that we propose as a logical mindmap to structure our approach. The second lecture of 1907-04-01-GA096 (which was preceeded by a preparatory lecture on 1907-03-25-GA096) is also a reference lecture for the MoG, and overlaps with this chart. So together these two lectures really represent an excellent starting point. <span style="background-color: rgb(153, 153, 153) We now want to go from the raw material (lecture texts) to a more structured non-sequential approach that we can extend to a browseable

Now how to proceed? Quite practically my proposal is that a/ First read this page which briefly describes the intended process. b/ then read this first lecture, 'parse' its contents, and keep this chart alongside and/or (even better but not obliged) draw your own high level scheme (try to stick to one page) .. to see how it provides a picture of the various aspects covered.

We can now segment the 'territory' covered (rather artificially but not arbitrarily) into seven topics or themes (see digits in whiteblue), with a short description in the yellow text boxes.

  1. – For the whole of humanity: unification of humanity through brotherly love
  2. – Christ Jesus: what was the nature of the being that went through MoG?
  3. – zooming out .. evolutionary framework where MoG fits in
  4. – How it works spiritual-technically: the Mystery of the Blood (special fluid, purified, etherization, link with higher ethers) and the Mystery of the Heart
  5. – Major change for every human being: initiation as spiritualization - the Old Mysteries (of the Spirit) and the New Mysteries (of the Son) + two symbolic images
  6. – The principle in image metaphor story: the Holy Grail, Parsifal, nature’s yearly cycle in plant kingdom (subconscious nature of impulse)
  7. Cosmic dimension .. zooming out even further: a new beginning, a new center and Sun, change of astral atmosphere Earth

Step 2

The second step is to read and study the two other lectures, parsing their contents for yourself so you are able to cluster subtopics.

Step 3

We can now go into each of these and start with a synthesis of what we learn from the two-three lectures (listed above), and then deepen our understanding by adding inputs from other lectures.

Approach

  • Hence, our approach is to provide a guided pathway, and this website is a tool along your study and learning journey. By pointing you to the right lectures in an overall logically structured framework, you will not loose your way but be able to build your insights continuously, and always come back to this site as a reference.
  • However, please appreciate this is a process that takes its time and riping. It is not because this is a website, that you can click your way around and get away with quick insights. You will have to do your own soul work by letting the study and contemplation work in and upon yourself.
  • The schematic also shows on the outskirts, surrounding the lecture content .. some keywords in light grey text boxes. These contain a short description with some keyword labels for more advanced points related to each of these fields. We will connect to these if we continue and extend our study.
In order not to make this Module 2 too complicated, I have grouped these in Module 4. Don't let them confuse you for now, because there is no point in trying to go there if you have not build your understanding in steps by going through the modules.
  • Important: the sectons 1 to 7 are of course only an arbitrary division of scope, in reality all is connected with all, and there is no such thing as 10 different aspects. So we should not let this division in 'cruncheable' study units get in our way, they are only meant as practical way to organize the guidance in our study. Trust that what you develop in our soul and spirit as a result of the study process knows no such artificial boundaries that we necessarily incur here in the physical world. And it is this 'building in your soul and spirit' that ultimately matters. [ link with spiritual science and importance of studying MoG]
